Augustow Lake District - "The Venice of the North", is famous for its picturesque landscape, the Augustow Forest and the surrounding lakes: Sajno, Necko, Białe, Rospuda, Studzieniczne. It is a good place where one can start exploring the areas of Augustów Primeval Forest, the Biebrza Valley, and northern Suwałki Region. There is also The Augustów Canal – one of few such examples of water construction in Europe.
PROGRAM
- Augustow (square, basilica, Mostowa Street),
- Studzieniczna (the 19th century Szkaplerzna Virgin Marry's church and shrines from the first half of the 19th century),
- the Wigry National Park (bus ride),
- Camaldolese Priory (located on Wigry peninsula; the 18th century baroque complex attracts tourists from all over Poland and from abroad; Pope John Poul II rested here during his pilgrimage in 1999).

Additional information
- Participation in the trip should be registered earlier at the office of SZOT company.

- You should take: packed lunch, sun-hat, light hiking shoes, raincoat and, of course, good mood.
- Leaving Augustow – 8 a.m., coming back – about 3.30 p.m.
