All of these you’ll see, if you paddle with the current of The Czarna Hancza River, serpentine winding among the woods of The Augustow Forest. Afterwards the route leads down The Augustow Canal with its historic, hand-operated locks and picturesque lakes. The route is easy and pleasant, suitable for beginners and families with children.

Programme

1st day

Before 12.00 - arrival of participants in Augustow, SZOT company (location - map). By the Wigry Lake – the water safety rules are discussed and training of kayaking skills is conducted. Before the trip you can visit the Wigry Monastery, a complex of 17th-century buildings built on a wooded peninsula that extends into Wigry Lake.

Trip: Wigry Lake - Buda Ruska (14 km)

2nd day

Trip: Buda Ruska – Fracki (16 km)

3rd day

Trip: Fracki – Jalowy Rog (18 km)

4th day

Trip: Jalowy Rog – Plaska (18 km)

5th day

Trip: Plaska – Przewiez (16 km)

6th day

Trip: Przewiez – Augustow (10 km)

Additional information

Participants - people aged 20 to 60 y.o., couples or individuals, families with children, students - everyone who wishes to relax among beautiful nature, meet new people and take a great adventure.
Meals (comfort option) – delicious, homemade meals prepared in agrotouristic farms. Luxurious option – meals in the Lesnik Hotel.
We assure safe, comfortable and new canoes and kayaks.
Accommodation: camping on the campsite or in agrotouristic farm.
Use of showers (in case of camping) - extra paid.
Free car parking in Augustow or picking up from the railway/bus station - for free (location - map).
Minimum number of participants – 8.
It is possible to come earlier or extend the stay (SZOT campsite or the Lesnik Hotel** accommodation).
You should take: tent and carrimat (you can hire it at the office), sleeping bag (in case of camping or night in agrotouristic farm), sun-hat, light hiking shoes, warm clothes, raincoat and, of course, good mood!

Hire of professional waterproof kayak bag - 12 zł.
Luggage transportation service (for the whole group) – at promotional price 40 zł/person.
It is possible to buy at the office: maps, waterproof mobile phone pouch, gloves, raincoats.
